Update By Punjab Boards Intermediate and Secondary Education
It has been seen that students get the date sheet in March and in May they are called to appear in the examination centers. According to the students, this is a very short time for them to prepare for the exams. They have to study for their exams and also complete their syllabus. In addition to this, they also have to attend classes and extra coaching classes. This leaves them with very little time to prepare for their exams.

The Punjab Boards of Intermediate and Secondary Education, act, 1976 governs the boards. The Punjab Government appoints the chairman of the Boards. The Board of Governors elects the members of the boards. The Boards are autonomous bodies and are not subject to the control of the Punjab Government. However, the Punjab Government may give directions to the Boards in matters of general policy.
